The Speakers

Cijoy is a dedicated physician with a special interest in Endocrinology. He currently serves as a consultant at Christian Fellowship Hospital, Oddanchatram. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and pursued his postgraduate training at Christian Fellowship Hospital, Oddanchatram, and later at Christian Medical College, Vellore. Cijoy is deeply passionate about both clinical medicine and Christian ministry. He finds fulfilment in teaching the Bible and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. He is married to Dr. Ancy Cijoy, an Ophthalmologist who also serves at CFH, Oddanchatram. The couple is blessed with three children -Elaine, Daniel, and Eva.

Dr. Jacob Cherian serves as Professor of New Testament and Dean of Faculty at the Centre for Global Leadership Development, Bangalore, marking his 40th year on the faculty of Southern Asia Bible College. He holds a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology from Regent College, Vancouver, with academic specialization in New Testament and Pauline Studies. An ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, India, he has devoted his life to discipleship, mentoring pastors and leaders, and helping churches grow toward a wholistic, biblically grounded faith engaged in integral mission. He serves on the executive boards of CGLD, the India Sunday School Union (Coonoor), Bombay Teen Challenge, and Urban India Ministries, and has written extensively for pastors and church leaders. Dr. Cherian is married to Melody, and they are blessed with two children and a grandson.

Dr. Vinay is an Orthopedic Surgeon serving at Christian Hospital, Ambilikkai, a mission hospital in rural Tamil Nadu, where he brings specialised orthopedic care to a community that would otherwise have limited access to it. He is joined in this calling by his wife, Rohini, an architect by training who has embraced the role of homemaker, anchoring their family and supporting the rhythm of service that rural hospital life demands. Together, they are raising two children, Arpana and Avi, in a home shaped by faith and a shared commitment to serving others.

Dr. Barney Isaac TJ serves as Professor in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine and Deputy Director (Chaplaincy Services) at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. He trained extensively in Respiratory Medicine in the United Kingdom, including specialist postings at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital and the Interstitial Lung Disease unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, and was honoured with the top SAS Trainer Award in 2014 for his dedication to teaching. Beyond his clinical and academic role in pulmonary medicine, he carries the responsibility of nurturing the spiritual life and pastoral care of the CMC community through the Chaplaincy Services, bringing together healing of the body and care of the soul in the spirit of CMC's founding mission
