About
PG Shiloh is a special Sunday afternoon session designed for postgraduates in Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, and Dental disciplines. It is part of the larger Shiloh conference, which focuses on medical missions and Christian service in healthcare. PG Shiloh provides a space to reflect, connect, and explore how your skills and calling can make a difference in healthcare and beyond. The session also addresses real-life challenges of postgraduate life, including practical and personal considerations, in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Dr. J. Stanly Gladson Daniel is a Urologist and General Surgeon serving at GEMS Multi-Specialty Hospital, where he has been part of the team since 2010. He completed his MBBS at Madras Medical College (1999 batch), his MS in General Surgery at Madurai Medical College (2007 batch), and later his M.Ch. in Urology at Madras Medical College (2018 batch. Under his leadership, the hospital has grown to offer digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, colonoscopy, a modular OT, an automated lab, and laparoscopic and urological surgeries, including access to Ayushman Bharat coverage that has brought care within reach of the poor and needy. His journey to faith began through a serious illness in his 12th standard, and was deepened through Christian fellowship at Madras Medical College and a discipleship camp, eventually drawing him toward missions. Dr. Daniel is married to Dr. Preena, a rehabilitation counsellor, and they are blessed with a son and a daughter.​
Mrs. Eswari George is a nurse anaesthetist who has spent over three decades serving in mission hospitals across India, from Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra to Jharkhand, the Nilgiris, and now Odisha. She trained in GNM and Nursing Anaesthesia at Christian Fellowship Hospital, Oddanchatram, and later earned her Pc B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Nursing from CMC Vellore. Her journey of service has taken her through Prem Sewa Hospital (Uttraula), Jeevan Jyothi Christian Hospital (Robertsganj), Umri Christian Hospital (Maharashtra), Harriet Benson Memorial Hospital (Lalitpur), Broadwell Christian Hospital (Fatehpur), and Nav Jivan Hospital (Satbarwa), before her current posting since 2020 at Ashakiran Hospital, Lamtaput, Odisha. She and her husband, George Kutty, who has been engaged in community work alongside her at each of these hospitals, are parents to three daughters — the eldest now pursuing MBBS at CMC Vellore..​
Dr. Asisha Janeela serves in the Department of Hepatology at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, where she completed her undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialty training, and has been part of the CMC family for the past 20 years, since 2006. Beyond medicine, she is a wife and mother of two daughters, navigating the demands of training, academic work, and family life alongside her calling. Having recently completed her own postgraduate journey, she looks forward to sharing the successes, struggles, and lessons learnt along the way — and the faithfulness of God through every season.
