Dr. Sushil Jathanna currently serves as Managing Director of Lombard Memorial Hospital, Udupi, where he has transformed the hospital into a flourishing centre of care. He brings an extraordinary international career, having served as CEO of NHS Cambridgeshire, UK — the first Indian in NHS history to hold this position — as well as Managing Director of Care UK PLC. He returned to India in 2012 to devote himself to the Healing Ministry and the revival of Mission Hospitals, a calling he considers an essential arm of the Church. He serves on the Council and Executive Committee of CMC Vellore and as Secretary of CMAI Karnataka. Under his leadership, Lombard Memorial Hospital has won several national and international awards, including a NEWSWEEK Top 250 Green Hospitals recognition. Dr. Jathanna lives in Mangalore with his wife, Dr. Beate Jathanna, also a physician.
