Be Thou my Vision!
“Then the whole congregation of the people of Israel assembled at SHILOH and set up the tent of meeting there”
Joshua 18:1
It is with great delight we invite you all to Shiloh 2025, the 18th Annual Students Mission Conference, being held from 2nd to 5th of October 2025.
Shiloh is a movement that seeks to nurture students and health care professionals spiritually and develop leaders in the healing ministry of Christ. Shiloh provides a forum where students can get a glimpse of Christian healthcare work within the country and outside. It’s also a time to explore and gain a deeper understanding of God’s word and grow in their relationship with God, in a world of changing values.
The theme for this year is “BE THOU MY VISION” and the key verse chosen is Hebrews 12:2 “…looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…”
This year marks the 125th anniversary of CMC Vellore. In this landmark year, the theme invites us to a larger and higher purpose and vision in life, having Jesus Christ as our focus, and to align our lives with His vision and purposes.
Understanding God’s purposes in our lives will help us to be steadfast in our commitment to serve Him, amidst life’s challenges. In seeking His counsel and living in accordance with His word, we can fix our eyes on Jesus Christ and draw strength from Him to run with perseverance the race that is set before us.
The plenary speakers will be expounding in-depth on the theme over four days. The breakout sessions hope to address challenges faced by students providing a Biblical perspective with practical tips for Christian living.
The mission presentations will focus on the practical work in mission hospitals to give a realistic perspective to students, to understand mission work in context with its opportunities and challenges.
There are other exciting and edifying sessions including a special session titled ‘Vision, Vocation and Voyage’, a music night by UNARV band, Rev. Dr. John Scudder Oration, a short play by Open House productions ‘Facing Lions’ bringing alive the transformative power of the Holy spirit, screening of a documentary “ Be Thou My Vision”, capturing the initial years of Dr. Ida Scudder’s life, Bible Quiz, Q & A session and Group discussions.
We trust and pray that it will truly be a refreshing, enriching and transforming experience for each of you.
Come, be a part of Shiloh 2025 and be blessed!
Warm regards,
"
