Dr. Gnanaraj and Dr. Sheena, both trained at the Christian Medical College in Vellore, chose to serve at Duncan Hospital in the remote town of Raxaul, Bihar, instead of pursuing comfortable careers in South India. Dr. Gnanaraj is the Medical Director and Consultant Pediatrician, while Dr. Sheena specializes in infectious diseases, HIV care, and rheumatology. Together, they aim to bring hope and transformation to underserved communities. Embracing the challenges of Bihar, they raise their three boys in the mission field, exemplifying that true fulfillment comes from surrendering to God’s call and serving others.

About the talk
God's Grace in Missions
Missions are not a sacrifice but a privilege to serve God. This session draws from 8 years of rich experience in medical missions, highlighting how God sustains through challenges such as balancing family and work, handling peer pressure, concerns about children’s education, workplace discouragement, parents’ illness, and financial stability. It will offer encouragement and practical insights for those navigating similar struggles, reminding us that God’s grace is always sufficient. The session seeks to inspire a deeper trust in God’s provision and a joyful embrace of the call to missions.
