Dr. Arun Kumar Budha is a General Surgeon and the Medical Services Director at International Nepal Fellowship, Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara. He was born and raised in Dadeldhura and completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. Over the past two decades, Dr. Budha has worked in mission hospitals, including TEAM Hospital in Dadeldhura and UMN Hospital in Tansen, where he has provided emergency and surgical care to underserved communities.
Since 2021, he has been a part of INF Nepal, leading efforts to improve hospital services and systems while promoting community-based approaches to ensure holistic healthcare for all patients across INF Nepal Hospitals. Dr. Budha views healthcare as a calling and is dedicated to serving communities with compassion, aiming to bring healing and hope to those in need. He is married to Smriti, and they are blessed with three children.

About the talk
Dr. Arun will reflect on the Great Commission and its call to mission, connecting it to the journey of medical mission in Nepal—its history, current context, and future direction. Drawing from personal experiences and stories of transformation, he will share how healthcare can be a powerful expression of God’s mission. Students will be encouraged and challenged to view their vocation as an avenue for service and to commit themselves to go wherever God may call them.
