Dr. M.C. Mathew is the Co-founder of ASHIRVAD, an initiative for Child Development and Integrated Living, a charity which began in 1983. He is a Developmental Neurologist by training with 40 years of involvement in child development and rehabilitation. He is the Founder General Secretary of the Evangelical Medical Fellowship of India. He is a prolific writer who has authored several books, like Vellore Experiences, Let Me Live, Bud to Blossom, Accompany Your Child, and Enable Your Child. He has also co-authored many books, such as Parenting Your Child, Bird Movements- Inner Responses, and Parenting Presence. Currently, he lives with his wife, Dr. Anna Mathew, in their cottage near Ernakulum, spending their time reflectively and being listening companions to some friends to support them in their Mid-life transition and parenting engagements.
