Bendangmenla did her B.sc Nursing from RIPANS (Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences), Mizoram, in 2004. In 2005 she joined Makunda Christian Hospital in Assam and understanding the rising need for nurses in far-flung remote areas in the North-east, an ANM School (Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife) was started at Makunda of which she was the Principal.
She completed her MSC Nursing in Paediatrics from CMC Vellore and rejoined the hospital at Makunda in 2012 as the Nursing Superintendent.
Married to Dr. Samuel Wati who is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland, she moved to Dimapur, Nagaland and joined CIHSR (Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research) in Dimapur in 2012 and has held varied responsibilities of Nursing Superintendent and currently as the vice principal for the BSc Nursing Programme.
Blessed with three children aged 10, 7, and 4 yrs old, she has experienced God’s leadings in her life and can today say “He is able”.
