Dr. Roshine completed her MBBS and MD (Medicine) from CMC Vellore. She grew up reading biographies and wondered what God had in store for her life. She became sensitive to the needs of the poor, so much so that at one point she knew that she would be spending her life working with them.
God opened the way for her to work as a physician in rural India. She has worked in Mission hospitals in Kerala after her MBBS. After completing her MD, she was Deputy Med Sup in Nav Jeevan hospital, Palamau, Jharkhand following which she moved to Makunda Christian Hospital at Assam in 2014 where she took over as the senior Administrative officer in Feb 2020.
The journey of understanding the needs of the poor man, the challenges of health care in rural India and the apathy towards marginalized communities had strengthened her conviction regarding her area of work. Her journey thus far has been amazing.
